This is my 2012 Harley Davidson FLD Switchback! Purchased October 26th 2011!! Harley Davidson finally made the perfect bike for me on the Dyna platform! This bike also reminds a little of the old 4 speed Shovelheads from the 70s! So far all I've done to it was put on the Night Stick slip-on muffler and the Screamin' Eagle high flow breather, even got my lovely queen a nice backrest for those long trips!

I traded my 2007 Harley Street Bob for it and couldn't be happier! I hear people say: "Hey how come you didn't get a Road King or Heritage?" 1) I've owned a Heritage and I hated it, I don't like softail models in general, not my cup of tea. Not saying their bad bikes but if I want to drag floorboards than I might consider one and to each his/her own! 2) the Road Kind is so 2002 for me, I had actually considered buying one back then and I am SO glad I didn't! I've ridden a few and they just don't do it for me. I went from a Sportster, to an FXR (87 FXLR), to a Softail (a Springer and a Heritage) and then I threw my leg over a Dyna Wide Glide and I've never looked back! Dynas are it for me, light, fast and nimble and this Switchback smokes all my other Dynas completely. I've been in some interesting turns on this thing and it's ALL throttle and I would venture to say that Harley Davidson has got themselves and actual Sport Touring bike here that they can build a really nice line of bikes from!
